Gympie Masterplanned Community Project

Kingsview is a proposed masterplanned community in the approval phase in Southside, Queensland. Development applications were lodged with Gympie Regional Council in June 2023 for a masterplanned community of 441 lots and 521 dwellings. The project consolidates two large landholdings from two unrelated landowners. The project vision is to ultimately include both a residential subdivision and a LLC.

Southside is well positioned to see sustained levels of growth in the residential dwelling market. The underlying economic indicators support continued price increases as the lack of residential land supply in the Sunshine Coast continues to put upwards pressure on Southside. PropTrack prepared a 5-year real estate price projection for all Australian suburbs. Southside is expected to have its median house price increase from $568,000 in 2023 to $1,006,000 by 2028. This increase reflects a 77% increase in dwelling value in 5 years. The project is expecting to obtain its development approval from Council in Q1 2024.
